Recognised as the ‘Best State Tourism Board’ during SATTE exhibition held in Greater Noida

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) was honoured at the national level for the excellent innovations in promoting the tourist destinations of the State, providing experience-based tourism to visitors and doing outstanding work in the field of environment friendly tourism.
The MPTB has been given the 'Best Tourism State Board' award in the country's major travel exhibition SATTE (South Asian Travel and Tourism Exchange) held in Greater Noida. Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, expressed happiness over the achievement. He said that the Tourism Department is always committed to the accessibility, convenience and safety of the tourists visiting the State. Efforts are being made to ensure that more and more tourists visit and explore the 'Heart of Incredible India' through an array of innovations and initiatives.
Yuvraj Padole, Deputy Director of Event and Marketing Department, received this honour on behalf of the Board. It is noteworthy that the Board participated prominently in the three-day exhibition and promoted the tourism destinations and products of the state before the travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers and various stakeholders from the country and abroad.
The Board has been given this honor on the basis of high level performance in the field of tourism, infrastructure development, economic development of local community, preservation of culture and heritage of the State. The visitors at the MPTB stall also got a chance to experience virtual tours of Sanchi, Amarkantak, Narmada Ghats and other destinations.
